Employability, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Toolkit for Revalidation and Review Online

The QMU Enterprise and Innovation Network (EIN), along with the Governance and Quality Enhancement team, are facilitating a workshop on a new Toolkit for Revalidation and Review, which covers Employability, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (EEE).

The EEE Toolkit has been developed to support colleagues to embed the themes of employability, enterprise and entrepreneurship within the curriculum development process and aligns closely with QMU’s Student Experience Strategy. The EEE Toolkit is now being rolled out for use in all validation and review events.

The EEE Toolkit does not seek to introduce any significant new requirements to the validation and review process. Instead, it builds on existing approaches to provide enhanced guidance, suggested prompt questions for panels and teams to consider, and links to further reading. It is expected that the EEE Toolkit will address some of the questions and requests from colleagues for clearer guidance and resources to develop their practice.

This workshop will offer a space to explore the Toolkit and discuss prompt questions, processes, and accompanying resources. The session facilitators will be:

  • Dawn Martin, Assistant Secretary, Governance and Quality Enhancement
  • Professor Cathy Bulley, Co-Director of the Centre for Health, Activity and Rehabilitation Research and Chair of the EIN
  • Dr Kavi Jagadamma, Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy
  • Dr Carolyn Low, Knowledge Exchange Manager

We welcome all colleagues to join us. We would particularly encourage attendance from validation and review conveners and panel members, and programme teams participating in events in 2025. Please note that we will be treating semester two of 2024-25 as a pilot of the toolkit in recognition that teams will be at different stages of developing their documents and that there will need to be a period of transition during which we communicate and embed the new resource.
