INSIGHTS Talk: Dr Catriona Oates 'More-than-human centred reflection' In-Person / Online
In this INSIGHTS Talk, Dr Catriona Oates will be in conversation with Vikki Hill, Interim Director of LEAD, to discuss her recent article More-than-human centred reflection: Addressing the fiction of reflective practice in teacher education. The article aims to extend the debate around the contested concept of the ‘reflective practitioner’ which is a core concept that has influenced practice-based learning across a range of disciplines including social work, nursing and teaching. Catriona will explain how she has reframed this as a ‘more-than’ human’ (Strom and Viesca, 2021) endeavour.
