Artificial Intelligence Symposium 2026 Online
The rapid development of generative AI has challenged the higher education sector, provoking a wide range of perspectives and responses. This has provoked reflection on some fundamental questions: What is the purpose of higher education, and what disciplinary knowledge should our graduates possess?
Additionally, it has created opportunities to address perennial challenges in higher education: How can we provide inclusive or personalised learning at scale and developing more authentic and experiential assessments. It has also highlighted risks to academic integrity and learning behaviours.
The call for papers will be announced shortly.
Who should attend?
Teaching practitioners including: heads of departments, academic programme leaders and developers, lecturers, professional services staff supporting teaching and learning activities, widening participation and access staff, equality diversity and inclusion practitioners and learning technologists.
A digital badge award will recognise presenters at this event.
